The Latino Digital Divide: New Report Shows Low Internet Use Among Latinos

Only slightly more than half of adult Latinos in the United States use the Internet, according to a recent study by the Pew Hispanic Center. At 56 percent, this number lags behind Internet usage for other groups. The report sites contributing factors to low Internet usage among Latinos including limited English proficiency and low levels of education. The Pew Hispanic Center is a non-partisan research organization which studies the growing Latino population in the United States.
